PTF增稠劑是丙烯酸酯類共聚物。這類增稠劑在低PH值時(shí)也可以溶于水并增稠，而在高PH值時(shí)能在水中溶解且顯示出較強(qiáng)的增粘增稠性能。 PTF增稠劑是通過(guò)丙烯酸酯單體自由基聚合得到的具有羧基官能團(tuán)的聚合物，具有良好的增稠功能，長(zhǎng)時(shí)間存放穩(wěn)定性好，不返稀。 PTF聚丙烯酸類增稠劑其增稠機(jī)理是增稠劑溶于水中，通過(guò)羧酸根離子的同性靜電斥力，分子鏈由螺旋狀伸展為棒狀，從而提高了水相的黏度。另外它還通過(guò)在乳膠粒與顏料之間架橋形成網(wǎng)狀結(jié)構(gòu)，增加了體系的黏度。
